WisDems Welcome President Biden and Secretary Vilsack

Madison Wis. — On Tuesday, June 29, President Biden will visit southwest Wisconsin with Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack to talk about growing agriculture and rural economies. In response, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Executive Director Nellie Sires released the following statement:

“We’re thrilled to welcome President Biden and Secretary Vilsack to Wisconsin. Thanks to the leadership of President Biden and the success of the American Rescue Plan, Wisconsinites are seeing more money in their pockets and shots in arms, businesses and schools reopening, and workers getting hired at record pace—and the Biden-Harris administration is just getting started.

“In partnership with Gov. Evers, President Biden continues to be a leader for families in every neighborhood across Wisconsin. From helping expand access to broadband internet in our rural communities to helping support our farmers, President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda is delivering in Wisconsin.”
