Madison, Wis. –– This week, Wisconsinites across the state voiced their support for President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda as reports showed the positive impacts Biden’s American Rescue Plan has made, including supporting Wisconsin’s seniors and sending pandemic relief to small businesses. Looking to build on the success of the recovery efforts led by President Biden and Governor Tony Evers, Wisconsinites are calling for leaders in Congress to pass the American Jobs Plan and American Families Plan to further benefit their communities.
Evidence continues to show that Build Back Better is working — this week, the World Bank’s Global Economic Prospects Report confirmed the US economic picture has drastically improved since President Biden took office. Support for this agenda is also growing across the country, with a survey released by Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses finding that 61 percent of small business owners support the American Jobs Plan and 60 percent support the American Families Plan.
