Madison, Wis. — WisDems announced today that President Joe Biden will be making a pre-recorded video visit to the 2021 WisDems virtual state party convention. The convention theme is Badger Bounceback, and will highlight the impact of the American Rescue Plan and the hard work of President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Governor Evers that has made Wisconsin a leader in vaccine distribution. In response, Democratic Party Chair of Wisconsin Ben Wikler issued the following statement:

“At WisDems, we’re fighting every day to keep it blue. We’re thrilled to be joined by President Biden to highlight the ways he has worked to improve the lives of people throughout Wisconsin. Together with the work of Governor Evers, President Biden has made Wisconsin a leader in vaccine distribution, and he’s going to keep investing in Wisconsinites through the passage of the American Jobs Plan and the American Families Plan.”

The Democratic Party of Wisconsin convention weekend is now slated to include appearances by President Biden, House Speaker Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Schumer, Governor Evers, Senator Baldwin, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison, former HUD Secretary Julián Castro, Representatives Kind, Moore, and Pocan, and other Democratic leaders from across the state.
