“Now more than ever, we need to find ways to grow our economy, secure the financial future for every American, and improve our international competitiveness. I am excited to launch the Investing in Innovation Initiative to achieve these goals through pro-growth, pro-job policies. This caucus will promote solutions to challenges facing our entrepreneurs and investors today and in the future. Thank you to my colleagues who have joined me in this effort. I look forward to tackling some of the biggest issues impacting Main Street investors, U.S. capital markets, and job creators,” said Rep. Bryan Steil.

“Strong U.S. capital markets allow companies to finance growth, innovation and research into the next big idea, while creating an avenue for hardworking Americans to build a nest egg, save for retirement or otherwise finance their futures,” said Rep. Andy Barr. “Congress should prioritize policies that expand access to capital markets, attract retail investors and foster innovation in how firms finance their operations.  The Investing in Innovation Initiative is designed to promote pro-growth policy solutions that ensure U.S. capital markets remain an attractive destination for investors.  I thank Congressman Steil for his leadership on this important topic.”

“Our capital markets are the best and most efficient in the world – by encouraging innovation, we can ensure that the small businesses that drive our local economies have access to those markets, and that we continue to have an edge in a global economy.  I’m proud to be a part of this initiative, and I’m grateful to Representative Steil for keeping the focus on this important issue,” said Rep. Steve Stivers.

“I’m excited to be a founding member of a group that understands the growth potential of U.S. capital markets and the need to keep them open and accessible to more Americans. Thanks to Rep. Steil for bringing us together to work on this important issue,” said Rep. Warren Davidson.

“I have long been a supporter of Main Street investors and have worked in Congress to ensure their needs are met in the financial services sector.  The Investing in Innovation Initiative will promote stronger capital markets that will foster a stable, growing economy and help provide even greater opportunity for Main Street America.  I look forward to working with my colleague, Congressman Steil, on this important issue as we ensure our financial markets support the needs of workers and small businesses,” said Rep. Ann Wagner.

“I am excited to join my colleagues in launching the Investing in Innovation Initiative,” said Rep. Anthony Gonzalez. “In Congress, I am committed to pushing policies that expand access to capital for Northeast Ohio businesses and creating new opportunities to access markets for every day American investors  This Initiative will help drive the conversation on policy ideas that will ensure that the United States remains the center of the financial world for decades to come.”

“Every American should have access to capital formation and investment. The Investing in Innovation Initiative (III) will focus on policies that strengthen our capital markets so everyone has the opportunity to pursue the American dream. I look forward to joining Rep. Steil and our III colleagues to foster economic opportunity and grow a more dynamic economy,” said Rep. William Timmons.
