GREEN BAY, WI – On Broadway’s annual State of the Broadway District presented by American National Bank will take place on Tuesday, April 27 from 7:30-9 a.m. at Gather on Broadway, 139 N Broadway. Updates on the Shipyard, Rail Yard, Broadway District vision, volunteer recognition and other new developments will be presented.
Speakers include Gail McNutt, board president, On Broadway, Inc.; Paul Northway, president/CEO, American National Bank; Eric Genrich, mayor, City of Green Bay; Brian Johnson, executive director, On Broadway, Inc.; Neil Stechschulte, development director, City of Green Bay; and Allie Thut, director of special events, On Broadway, Inc.
This year the event is taking a hybrid approach with a plated breakfast beginning at 7:30 a.m. with a limited capacity, followed by a presentation at 8 a.m. The presentation will be professionally live-streamed for the general public to view. The media is invited to attend in-person.
“2020 proved to be a challenging year for downtown districts across the county,” said Brian Johnson, executive director, On Broadway, Inc. “However, we’ve built a strong foundation in the Broadway District that provided the spark that was necessary to create several bright spots as we emerge from the pandemic. We look forward to sharing our positive outlook.”
