MADISON — Representative Lee Snodgrass released the following statement regarding Assembly session on January 26.

“Today the people of Wisconsin once again witnessed a living example of why people hate politics and politicians. Instead of passing the bipartisan COVID-19 bill agreed upon by the Senate and the Governor, Assembly Republicans introduced their divisive amendments back into the bill. People are facing foreclosure, health crisis, business loss and more and instead of passing what we know we agree on so the Governor can sign, my Assembly Republican colleagues once again had to have the last word at the expense of the people who elected us to be here and work for them.”

Representative Lee Snodgrass serves as the Assembly Representative to the 57th district which comprises central and southern Appleton, Menasha and the Village of Fox Crossing. She was elected in November 2020 and succeeds Rep. Amanda Stuck.
