Washington, D.C. – The oppo is already flying in Wisconsin in what will be one of the nastiest Democrat primaries in the country. Today it was revealed that likely Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Sarah Godlewski does not have a master’s degree after all. And she’s not the only potential Democrat candidate in Wisconsin to have lied about their educational background. Mandela Barnes, another likely Democratic U.S. Senate candidate, explicitly told media outlets that he had “finished” undergraduate college, even though he never earned a degree.
If Godlewski and Barnes are lying about something as simple as their education, then what else will they lie about to get ahead?
Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Lizzie Litzow: “The infighting has already started, and this is not a good sign for the Democrat Party in Wisconsin in what’s clearly going to be one of the nastiest primaries in the country. Multiple potential candidates for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin have already gotten caught lying about their resumes. If they’ll lie about that, what else can we expect Godlewski and Barnes to lie about in their campaigns?”
