Gov. Evers Seeks Applicants for Richland County Sheriff
 
MADISON – Gov. Tony Evers announced today that he is seeking applicants for Richland County Sheriff. The appointment will fill a vacancy created by Sheriff James J. Bindl’s resignation, effective July 12, 2021. The new sheriff will complete a term ending January 2, 2023.

The application for appointment can be found on the “Apply to Serve” page on Gov. Evers’ website at: www.evers.wi.gov. To apply, please complete the “Register of Deeds, Coroner, and Sheriff” application form. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Friday, July 9, 2021.
