President Joe Biden told Wisconsinites their efforts to elect Dems in 2020 has given a “once in a generation opportunity to invest in America.”
Biden thanked campaign workers and donors for their efforts to win him the state’s electoral votes, hold on to the U.S. House and win new seats in the state Assembly.
“Most importantly, you showed the world what Wisconsin is really made of,” he said. “Our job is to prove to the American people that their government can once again deliver for them and their lives.”
The president promised to work on new policies and legislation that will benefit people from the bottom-up, rather than the top-down.
But he warned Dems that they “can’t let up now.” Instead, he said they need to redouble their efforts in order to protect the right to vote and to keep Dems in power to continue passing legislation.
