MILWAUKEE— Yesterday, Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes wrapped up his Senate campaign launch tour with stops in Wausau and Green Bay. At the stops, Barnes highlighted the need to make infrastructure investments in rural Wisconsin and expand access to health care.

At the first stop, Barnes held a roundtable with Wausau Mayor Katie Rosenberg and community leaders to discuss the need for high-speed internet infrastructure in Wisconsin’s rural communities and the intersection of rural broadband and health care, education, and economic development.

Barnes wrapped his launch tour in Green Bay where he was joined by Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich, State Representative Kristina Shelton, Dr. Kristin Lyerly, and health care professionals to discuss the need for affordable and accessible health care throughout the state.
