MADISON— Days after Ron Johnson admitted to not reading the bipartisan infrastructure bill he opposed, Mandela Barnes mailed him a copy of the historic legislation to change his mind about opposing billions of dollars of investments into Wisconsin’s economy.

“This week, Ron Johnson admitted that he did not read the infrastructure bill before voting to reject billions of dollars in funding for Wisconsin,” said Mandela Barnes. “Now, these are critical investments in our roads, bridges, high speed Internet, clean water, and good paying jobs. So today we’re going to send him a copy of the bill in hopes that he may finally read it. Maybe he’ll learn a thing or two about the thousands of jobs right here in Wisconsin that he voted against. Maybe he’ll even change his mind. But, I’m not holding out hope. And if he doesn’t want to do the job, then I will.”
