MILWAUKEE— Yesterday, Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes continued his Senate campaign launch tour with four stops throughout Madison highlighting his message to bring progressive change to the United States Senate and create good-paying jobs, support Wisconsin small businesses and grow the green economy to combat climate change.

At the first stop, Lt. Gov. Barnes held a climate roundtable with local environmental leaders to discuss how people across Wisconsin are hurt by the climate crisis and how elected officials can protect families, ensure opportunity, and create good-paying jobs across the state.

Next, Barnes toured Giant Jones Brewing, a women-owned craft brewery.

On his third stop, Barnes visited the Shop and discussed the disparate effect COVID-19 had on minority-owned businesses and how elected officials can help support their recovery.

Barnes ended the day at Atwood Barbershop to meet and greet workers and customers.
