27 Madison-Area Elected Officials Endorse Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes for U.S. Senate

MADISON— Today, 27 Madison-area elected officials endorsed Lieutenant GovernorMandela Barnes for the United States Senate.

“I’m so proud to have the strong support of these Madison-area community leaders in our campaign to change the game in the United States Senate,” said Mandela Barnes. “With their help, I know we can beat Ron Johnson and take our message of opportunity for all to Washington, D.C. In the Senate, I will never back down from the challenges we face and will work relentlessly to make Wisconsin a state that does big and bold things again.”

The endorsements come as Mandela Barnes continues to build a diverse, statewide coalition to beat Ron Johnson in the opening weeks of his campaign. They join Congresswoman Gwen Moore, over a dozen state legislators throughout the state, mayors from across Wisconsin, Collective PAC, Democracy for America, MoveOn, People for the American Way, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, and the Working Families Party in their endorsement of Barnes.
