MADISON, WI—Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) tonight congratulated State Senator-Elect John Jagler on his special election victory. The grassroots group threw its full support behind then State Representative Jagler beginning in December and leveraged its activists to encourage voters in both the primary and general election to support his candidacy. Jagler earned the support of AFP-WI for his commitment to principled policy solutions to the greatest challenges Wisconsin families face.

AFP-WI achieved in excess of 328,000 contacts with voters ahead of the special election—at the doors, on the phones, through text messaging, and through targeted direct mail and digital advertisements.

AFP-WI State Director Eric Bott issued the following statement:

“Our activists are pleased to see John Jagler’s special election victory tonight—knowing his election signals more principled support for policy in the Wisconsin State Senate. Throughout his time in office, Jagler has consistently advocated for Wisconsin families—fighting to lower the tax burden, supporting greater educational opportunities for our students, and making it easier for our economy to recover through fiscal challenges. As the Badger State seeks solutions to help us recover stronger, we look forward to having Senator-Elect Jagler in Madison to continue his great work and fight for our families.”
