[Madison, WI] – In response to Attorney General Josh Kaul’s decision to withdraw a past Attorney General opinion on high-capacity wells, the Republican Party of Wisconsin issued the following statement from Chairman Andrew Hitt:
“At a time when our farmers are under extreme stress, Josh Kaul has decided to make life even more difficult by paying back political favors to the far-left and effectively barring any new high-capacity well permits. Instead of making life more difficult for farmers, Kaul and Evers should look for ways to promote the industry.”
