(WISCONSIN) — In response to Donald Trump Jr.’s upcoming visit to Green Bay, Wisconsin, Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Philip Shulman released the following statement:
“As COVID-19 infections and deaths surge across Wisconsin and we see Green Bay-area hospitals pushed to the brink, Trump still has no plan to address the virus. And Wisconsinites are paying the price. We’ve seen manufacturers across the Fox Valley bear the brunt of Trump’s chaotic trade wars with China and are now being dealt a second blow by his failed COVID-19 response. Meanwhile, Trump remains focused on taking away our health care and attacking protections for people with preexisting conditions, even reiterating his intention to “terminate” the ACA during the debate this week. It’s clear that Trump has completely given up trying to fight this pandemic, and that the only way we’ll defeat the virus and begin to build back better is by sending Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to the White House on November 3rd.”
