MADISON – Wisconsin Conservation Voters is available before, on, and after Election Day 2020 for interviews and information regarding the election results, environmental issues, voting issues, and insight into state legislative races across the state.

“Wisconsin Conservation Voters will be volunteering, monitoring social media, watching returns, and communicating with state residents throughout the day on Nov. 3,” Organizing and Political Director Seth Hoffmeister said. “We’ll be available to all members of the media for comment and insight.”

The election is critically important to conservation issues and values like clean water, clean energy, a clean democracy, and racial justice in Wisconsin and the country.

In addition to its public policy and other outreach programs, Wisconsin Conservation Voters has mounted an unprecedented effort this year in connection with its election campaign to defend those values and advocate for candidates who are committed to becoming conservation champions in Madison.

Wisconsin Conservation Voters will have several staff available that day – and in the days following – prepared to answer questions and add insight regarding the election, its impact on the conservation movement, pending policy issues before the state and what to expect as we move forward.

Contacts available include:

  • Executive Director Kerry Schumann
  • Government Affairs Director Jennifer Geigerich
  • Organizing and Political Director Seth Hoffmeister

Our 501c3 partner organization, the nonpartisan Wisconsin Conservation Voices, will also have staff available to address topics related to its own separate and distinct program activities such as challenges to voting, access to polls, and GOTV efforts in communities of color and tribal communities under its Voice the Vote and Native Vote programs.

Those staff include:

  • Civic Engagement Director Anjali Bhasin
  • First Nations Organizer Dee Sweet
