Madison….  Chief Kenneth M. Pileggi, of the City of Jefferson Police Department and who also serves as the current President of the Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association (WCPA), stated, “On behalf of WCPA and law enforcement throughout Wisconsin —we thank Mr. Kalluri for this incredible gift. These masks will truly help keep our families and us safe.”

Shree Kalluri, Zerology’s Founder & CEO, announced on Thursday that he would personally donate 16,000 KN95 masks to law enforcement agencies across Wisconsin. Kalluri started Zerology, which owns and operates Green Cab Madison.

“This is truly an example of what makes Wisconsin the great state it is.  This is a perfect example of the Wisconsin Spirit,” continued Pileggi.

The masks were donated and distributed to all municipal, county, and state law enforcement agencies on Thursday with the Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association volunteers handing out thousands of the masks to law enforcement officers from throughout the State of Wisconsin.

Law enforcement members drove for hours to get the masks for their full time and part time officers.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic masks are in short supply and when there are supplies, those in the health professions receive priority, making the donation of masks even more crucial to the well being of Wisconsin’s police officers.

Pileggi ended by stating, “Though we are in challenging times, it is also times like these, when people go above and beyond, and this is an example of that.”
