Sturgeon Bay, WI (February 7, 2020) – Members of the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) gathered at the Stone Harbor Resort in Sturgeon Bay on Friday where WBA installed their 2020 President, Jeff Dorner, as well as other members of the Leadership Committee.

Dorner, designer, salesman, and project manager for Vans Lumber & Custom Builders in Luxemburg, WI will lead the association as President, overseeing WBA’s executive committee and board of directors for the next year. His career in the construction industry began in 1976 as a framing carpenter before working his way through the trades. He has been a member of the local Door County Home Builders Association since 1990, having served in numerous leadership roles at both the state and local levels.

“I am honored to be able to serve as WBA’s President in 2020 and look forward to continuing the successes of those who have come before me,” said Dorner. “The housing industry continues to strengthen and with a great group of home builders and those who support the industry, we will continue to pursue opportunities to build affordable housing for people across the state.”

Along with Dorner, the WBA also installed the following members of the Leadership Committee:

Associate Vice President-Elect: Terry Welnicke, Manitowoc Heating & Refrigeration Services; Manitowoc
