MADISON – Dan Kapanke of La Crosse has been endorsed by the Volunteers for Agriculture® Committee for the 32nd Senate District. The VFA is the political action arm of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation.

Kapanke was endorsed because of his track record partnering with farmers on water issues, promoting land stewardship and advocating for Wisconsin’s rural residents. He also supports the needs of rural Wisconsin businesses, including funding of roads and broadband infrastructure.

The 32nd Senate District consists of La Crosse and Crawford counties and portions of Vernon and Monroe counties. Kapanke is seeking to represent the 32nd Senate District in the Nov. 3 general election

The Volunteers for Agriculture® Committee is comprised of 18 farmers and agriculturists from around the state and was formed to give farmers a more direct role in electing leaders who best represent agriculture’s interests.
