Eduard Vocke has deep roots in the 12th Senate District of northern Wisconsin. With the birth of his young son, four generations of family have loved, lived, and grown in the clean air and beautiful forests of northern Wisconsin.

Running for Wisconsin State Senate, Ed wants to be a voice for the people of northern Wisconsin—our family farmers, our sportsmen, our restaurant and hospitality workers, our hardworking healthcare professionals, and our veterans—those who work everyday to keep us safe, and healthy, and fed in these uncertain times.

“Every crisis is an opportunity to come together. Every hardship is a test of our faith in a
better future. With steadfastness, we will prevail.”

Raised in a large family, Ed was shown the importance of hard work, and what it means to truly serve your community. A family of nurses, of social workers, of hospice caregivers, of mayors, mothers, judges, carpenters, and fighter pilots. There is never a job too small, or a feat too large that doesn’t deserve sincere attention with care, concern, and thoughtfulness—and that’s what he wants to bring to Madison. To represent the people of northern Wisconsin with the same thought, care, and concern that he was raised to give.

On his family farm in the forests of Minocqua, WI, Ed has learned from some of the best minds and brightest business owners, working hand and hand with entrepreneurs and land stewards to create sustainable initiatives to keep our region healthy, as well as productive—for future generations. He has spent time in Madison introducing bi-partisan legislation to help put money in the pockets of our family farmers. As an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin system, he understands what an affordable quality education means for the future of our youth. As a hospitality industry veteran, he knows what it takes to make sure our small business owners succeed, and he understands the challenges they face on a day-to-day basis.

When not stewarding the family land or advocating for the people of northern Wisconsin, Ed enjoys time with his growing family, hiking and hunting with his dog Vilas, and entertaining friends and family with good food, great music, and the charms of the north woods.

“In these changing times we can’t afford to listen to the same voices that put us in this
mess. We need fresh ideas, action-steps, and real results. The people of northern Wisconsin deserve their say, and I would be honored to be their voice.”
