HAGER CITY, WI – On Tuesday, the National Taxpayers Union (NTU) released a scorecard rating each U.S. Senator and Representative on their support of taxpayer’s interests. The report highlighted Rep. Ron Kind’s failure to stand up for Wisconsin taxpayers.

NTU’s grades are based on roll call votes that have a fiscal impact. Each vote’s score is based on whether or not the outcome protects taxpayers’ interests by reducing spending and lowering taxes.

Ron Kind received an “F” rating, with abysmal score of 14% out of 100% on NTU’s scale, reflecting what Winsconsinites already know: Ron Kind has let them down in Washington.

Following the release of the NTU report, Republican challenger Derrick Van Orden released the following statement:

“This report is just the latest piece of evidence highlighting Ron Kind’s surrender to Nancy Pelosi and “the Squad’s” reckless spending. Kind’s continued disregard for the taxpayers of Wisconsin’s 3rd District has gone on for far too long.”
