Minocqua, Wis. — U.S. Congressional Candidate and State Senator Tom Tiffany (R–Minocqua) released the following statement Wednesday after President Trump signed the USMCA deal into law:
“Today is a phenomenal day for Wisconsin manufacturers and farmers. By signing the USMCA trade deal, President Trump is showing just how committed he is to the bold economic vision he laid out of making America great again.
“The President negotiated this deal more than a year ago, and I’ve been fighting alongside him, encouraging Congress to pass this new deal that will help keep our American economy strong. Even though Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats dragged their feet and prioritized the impeachment distraction over our economy, they couldn’t stop President Trump from winning and doing what’s right.
“Wisconsinites will continue growing, creating, building, and exporting our products to other nations. Thanks to President Trump’s hard work with the USMCA, Wisconsinites can be confident that their farms and businesses will succeed and prosper for years to come.”
