The Thompson Center’s third conference on “Increasing Independence for Wisconsin’s Disabled Population” will be held in Stevens Point. This conference will focus in particular on managing the transition to living independently and working as adults with a disability.  A panel discussion will also approach the topic of how technology can be optimized to facilitate the independence of adults with an intellectual or developmental disability.  Delivering the Keynote address will be Michael Morris, Executive Director of the National Disability Institute & The ABLE National Resource Center.
