Kenosha – Hello, neighbor.
In an election year, I am prohibited by state law from sending communications to groups of fifty or more people after April 15. As part of the Covid-19 response legislation passed in April, an exception was made for Covid-related communications only; as a result, this e-update contains information on Covid resources and does not address the tragic situation concerning the death of George Floyd.
In the news this week, Racine and Kenosha Counties continue to exhibit higher-than-average rates of Covid transmission; community spread is evident in both communities; widespread testing continues; and state and local governments continue to deal with the fallout of the pandemic. These are difficult times for all of us, but we will get through it together. I hope this is helpful. Stay safe and healthy.
