Madison – On Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald appointed State Senator Alberta Darling to the Wisconsin Center District Board. The board operates the Wisconsin Center, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panther Arena, and the Miller High Life Theatre. After the appointment, Senator Darling released the following statement:
“I’d like to thank Senator Fitzgerald for his leadership on the Wisconsin Center District Board and look forward to taking his place on the board.
There are obvious challenges ahead as our state reopens after the shutdown from the COVID-19 pandemic. I believe Milwaukee is a world-class destination and it will be exciting to help bring events and people back to the city.”
Senator Darling represents portions of Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha Counties.
