Madison, WI — Today, State Senator David Craig (R-Town of Vernon) released the following statement on the Supreme Court of Wisconsin striking down Emergency Order #28:
“I applaud the Supreme Court’s ruling to restore freedom in our state. As I said when the ‘shelter in place’ order was made on March 23, 2020, ‘The constitution was not designed to be disregarded in a time of crisis, in fact, it was specifically designed to be most valuable and applicable during times of crisis when liberties are most at risk.’
“We are a nation of laws, and today the Supreme Law of Wisconsin won.”
