Madison… Representative John Macco (R-Ledgeview) released the following statement regarding the recently passed tax cut package:
“This tax cut package will provide much-needed tax relief to Wisconsin tax payers” said Rep. Macco. “Not only does this package deliver income tax reductions for the middle class, it also helps us continue to lower state debts, invest in the rainy day fund, and moves us towards a tax code that looks like we created it on purpose.”
Rep. Macco joined his colleagues earlier this month at Team Industries in Kaukauna Wisconsin on Friday, to announce the new tax cuts. AB 910 was passed in the State Assembly and State Senate on Thursday.
“When you look at other states like South Carolina or Utah, they’ve implemented common-sense tax policies that unleash their economy and put the people first. This tax cut package gets us closer to that,” said Rep. Macco.
