The liberal group Priorities USA announced today it will begin a $5.8 million buy on Wisconsin TV starting Feb. 25 along with millions more in digital ads as part of its effort opposing President Trump.

Wisconsin Outreach Director Cassidy Geoghegan said the market breakdown in Wisconsin includes: $3.4 million in Milwaukee, $1.8 million in Green Bay and $640,000 in the La Crosse/Eau Claire market.

The group released details of the Wisconsin ads as it announced this morning it was expanding its effort in key states to $150 million through the Democratic National Convention. That’s up from previous plan to spend $100 million.

The overall effort will include $30 million in TV and $40 million on digital ads, which will appear on platforms such as YouTube, Hulu and Pandora.
