MILWAUKEE – Claire Woodall-Vogg, executive director of the Milwaukee Election Commission, will be the featured guest at a virtual event set for noon on Tuesday, October 6. This Newsmaker Lunch Hour is presented by a partnership between the Milwaukee Press Club and WisPolitics.com.

Woodall-Vogg’s appointment was confirmed in July by the Common Council. As executive director, she is responsible for all elements of the city’s election operation. She has worked for the election commission since 2013 except for a brief stint as Cedarburg clerk, succeeding long-time executive director Neil Albrecht, who announced his retirement in May.

Woodall-Vogg will take questions from a panel of journalists and from the audience during the session,  moderated by Milwaukee Press Club President Corrinne Hess, reporter at Wisconsin Public Radio.

The panel:
Scott Bauer – Correspondent, Associated Press
Alison Dirr – Reporter, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Kim Shine – Reporter, CBS 58
