Greendale, WI (May 20, 2020) – Dan Griffin formally announced his run for Wisconsin’s 28th Senate District seat today. Griffin is looking forward to the opportunity since Senator Dave Craig, who has served us so well in this position, just announced that he is no longer running for re-election.

Griffin comes to the race well organized and well prepared having already mobilized his support for a State Assembly election.  In transitioning to the Senate race, Griffin will build on the momentum he had gained already. With his strong ties to the community, Griffin is confident that he will be able to secure the signatures needed to put his name on the ballot for the November 3rd general election.

“We have seen a tremendous amount of support from our community,” stated Griffin, “and I look forward to broadening our base throughout the region with the expanded communities included in the 28th District.”

The 28th District is located in Wisconsin’s southeast corner and includes the cities of Franklin, New Berlin, Muskego, Greenfield, Hales Corners, Big Bend, Vernon, Waterford, portions of Waukesha, and Greendale, where Griffin and his family reside.

Griffin, a hard-working and dedicated family man, business owner and attorney, is a Republican listing lowering taxes, fostering economic growth, improving education, and protecting human life as key issues for his campaign.
