Conservative from Eau Claire to bring new perspective, smart decision-making to challenge Democrat Ron Kind in Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District
EAU CLAIRE, WIS. – Republican Jessi Ebben (EH’bun) a public relations professional and Eau Claire resident, announced her bid to represent Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District in Congress.
“Wisconsin families deserve a representative who will prioritize the fight to protect their freedoms and values,” said Ebben.
“As a conservative, I will defend our constitutional rights, listen and represent the people of the district, support President Trump’s pro-America agenda, and work to get things done for Wisconsin.”
Ebben is looking to challenge 12-term Democrat Ron Kind, who hasn’t been forced to run a competitive race in years.
President Trump carried Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District in 2016 and according to Cook Political Report is among the competitive races in 2020.
Ebben has been visiting communities in the district since fall 2019 and will continue traveling throughout central and western Wisconsin to meet with and listen to constituents to learn about the issues and initiatives that are most important to them.

Jessi Ebben was born, educated and rooted in Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District.
Ebben was born in Stevens Point and grew up in Westfield. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where she earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations. Ebben then spent nearly five years in the Twin Cities area working in marketing and communications for two local municipalities – the cities of Eden Prairie and Minnetonka. She returned to Eau Claire in 2017 and continues to work in the public relations and marketing field.
Ebben is married to her husband Cody, a native of Altoona. She has roots throughout the Third Congressional District, with family from the Eau Claire, Platteville, Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point, Pepin and other areas within the district.
