TOMAH, WI — Today Republican congressional candidate in Wisconsin’s 3rd District, Jessi Ebben, announced plans for a Back the Badge Rally and a protest outside of Rep. Ron Kind’s office in La Crosse. On Saturday, July 18th, supporters of local law enforcement are encouraged to gather from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the intersection of Losey Blvd S & State Rd. Following the rally, there will be another gathering outside of Rep. Ron Kind’s office at 205 5th Ave S St from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.

“We must push back against the negative narrative going against our law enforcement officers, who keep our communities safe, and the harmful rhetoric of defunding the police. Wisconsin’s law enforcement officers lead the nation with high standards for policing, and Ron Kind has not supported them,” stated Ebben. “He has not denounced calls for defunding the police and recently cosponsored and helped pass a bill that would eliminate qualified immunity. We must show Kind that the people of Wisconsin’s 3rd District back the badge and don’t align with him and or the far-left agenda seeking to dismantle the essential role of law enforcement in our country.”
