MILWAUKEE COUNTY – Today, Mayor Dan Devine (West Allis), Mayor Kathy Ehley (Wauwatosa), Mayor Michael Neitzke (Greenfield), Village President Julie Siegel (Whitefish Bay), and Village President Sam Dickman (Bayside) joined Mayor Bryan Kennedy (Glendale) in endorsing State Representative David Crowley to be the next Milwaukee County Executive.

Rep. Crowley is the only candidate for County Executive to have received an endorsement from any Mayors or Village Presidents in Milwaukee County.

“I’m impressed by David Crowley’s grasp of the issues facing Milwaukee County and specifically the suburbs,” said West Allis Mayor Dan Devine. “He understands the concerns about quality parks, infrastructure, and public safety. I also feel he is the best candidate to work across the aisle and bring consensus to deliver results. I’m happy to endorse him for County Executive.”

“David has a willingness to listen, the ability to work with others and be creative, and will rethink county governments,” said Greenfield Mayor Michael Neitzke. “David’s fresh eyes, bright mind, a strong desire to be inclusive to ALL of the cities and villages in Milwaukee County make him a great choice to lead. He gets it, and I’m honored to endorse him for Milwaukee County Executive”

“David’s personal story, his passion for serving the people of the county, and his vision of building a Milwaukee County that meets the needs of all residents make him my choice to be the next Milwaukee County Executive,” said Kennedy. “We can trust that David Crowley will be putting the people first — not his own ambition — as our next Milwaukee County Executive. I offer my enthusiastic endorsement and support to David Crowley and will be working to ensure that he is elected our next Milwaukee County Executive.”

“This entire race, I’ve talked about the need to bring all communities of Milwaukee County together, and that’s exactly what we are doing,” said Rep. Crowley. “Milwaukee County has been operating in silos for far too long. As County Executive, I will bring all 19 municipalities to the table to address the issues facing our residents. I’m honored to earn the support of these Mayors and Village Presidents and I can’t wait to work with them to serve all of the residents of Milwaukee County, no matter where they live.”

Representative Crowley currently serves Wisconsin’s 17th Assembly District, representing almost 60,000 residents in the State Legislature. As a member of the State Assembly, David sits on the Energy and Utilities, State Affairs, Workforce Development, and Transportation Committees and is the ranking member on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee. He is the Chair of the Milwaukee Delegation, the Chair of the Black Caucus, and the Co-Chair of the Black and Latino Caucus. He also serves as a member of the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) Board of Directors.

Representative Crowley lives in Milwaukee with his wife, Ericka, and their three young children.

The non-partisan Primary election will be held on Tuesday, February 18. The General election will be on Tuesday, April 7. For more information about David Crowley and his campaign visit www.crowleyformke.com.
