Jason Church, candidate for Congress in Wisconsin’s Seventh District, released the following statement after the Senate approved the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) today:

“I want to congratulate the Senate for their swift passage of the USMCA. This is a major victory for President Trump, but most especially for Wisconsin workers. The USMCA will protect American jobs and create more free trade opportunities, particularly for the dairy industry.

“While the passage of the USMCA needs to be celebrated, it heads to President Trump’s desk after a year of political games by the Democrats. Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats held up the ratification process because they did not want to give our President a victory. I want to fight with President Trump in Congress to stand up for American workers and keep our economy strong.”
