BROWN COUNTY, WI — Brown County Health and Human Services – Public Health Division, De Pere Health Department and Oneida Nation Health Department applaud Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Secretary-Designee Andrea Palm for, at the directive of Governor Tony Evers, taking a statewide approach to addressing the recent surge in positive cases of COVID-19 in Brown County and across Wisconsin.

According to Emergency Order #3, businesses and other entities need to limit their indoor room capacity to 25% in order to ensure a safe, healthy environment for employees and patrons. In addition, Public Health continues to recommend limiting gatherings of any kind with individuals outside of your immediate household to 10 people.

We are working to understand the enforcement piece of this order. Once we speak with our law enforcement partners, we will provide guidance on expectations and next steps.

Please keep in mind that preventing the spread of the Coronavirus is something everyone has a role in. Our agencies implore all to take immediate actions in order to keep yourselves and your neighbors safe.
