America First Action’s new TV ad running in Wisconsin again hits Joe Biden over China.
The pro-Trump super PAC previously announced the $2.25 million buy in Wisconsin with ads running in Wausau, La Crosse, Green Bay and Milwaukee. But it didn’t release the spot until today as it begins running.
The narrator in the spot says China has been “stealing our manufacturing” and cost Wisconsin almost 90,000 jobs. The narrator adds “most Democrats understood the threat” as the spot plays clips of Barack Obama, John Edwards and Chris Dodd calling the country a “competitor” during a 2007 debate.
Biden said “They’re neither.” And the narrator then says, “If you can’t understand the threat, you can’t stop China.”
The spot also plays a clip of Hillary Clinton in that debate responding to Biden’s answer, “I want to say amen to Joe Biden, because he’s 100 percent right.”
