Kind campaign: Wisconsin farmers know Kind had their back during USMCA fight

La Crosse, WI— Wisconsin farmers know Ron Kind has their back and that without his efforts, USMCA wouldn’t be the deal it is today. Ron was the first to demand Canada eliminate its class 7 dairy program in this agreement and fought to guarantee Wisconsin farmers access to the Canadian dairy market, increase labor and environmental standards, and more. But don’t just take our word for it: “I appreciate Rep. Kind’s work to get USMCA across the finish line. His efforts to secure enforceability provisions made USMCA stronger and will ensure that farmers benefit from gains in the agreement,” said Darin Von Ruden, farmer from

(WISCONSIN) — Today, in response to the new Bureau of Labor Statistics unemployment numbers in Wisconsin, Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Philip Shulman released the following statement: “We’re reminded again that if Trump had taken the COVID-19 pandemic seriously from the get-go, we wouldn’t see this many Wisconsinites suffering and wondering how they’re going to put food on their table, pay their rent, or afford their health care. With the recent spike in cases across Wisconsin, people are rightfully going to be hesitant to return to work, go to stores and restaurants, and our economy is further going to suffer. Trump

The Citizens Utility Board, Wisconsin’s utility consumer advocate, is calling for utilities to be flexible with customers, waive penalties for nonpayment and delay disconnecting customers who are behind on their bills until the fall. Wisconsin citizens were spared disconnection of their utility services because of the executive orders issued by Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers and decisions by the Public Service Commission.
