Conservative group launches in-person campaign in Wisconsin, 3 other states

The conservative Heritage Action for American announced today it’s launching an in-person grassroots campaign in four states, including Wisconsin. The effort began yesterday with canvassers starting to knock on 200,000 doors in Wisconsin, Iowa, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. It’s one of the first national groups to announce plans to return to in-person canvassing in Wisconsin amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The group said it is taking safety precautions such as social distancing, hand-sanitizing and moving the elderly to call-only lists.
