Still No Plan Despite Evers’ Promise on Campaign Trail to Release After Election

[Madison, WI] – Governor Evers spent the entire campaign telling voters that one of his top priorities was “solving Wisconsin’s transportation crisis,” but immediately after being sworn-in, Evers skirted responsibility on the issue, telling reporters he thinks transportation is an issue the legislature can solve. In response, the Republican Party of Wisconsin issued the following statement from Executive Director Mark Morgan:

“Tony Evers promised voters he would release his transportation plan soon after being elected, but it has now been more than three weeks since he took office and Wisconsinites have yet to see anything from Evers that resembles a plan. Walking back promises is becoming all too common with the Evers administration. When will Evers begin following through on his campaign promises?”
