Mr. Gigot will deliver a major address regarding free speech in Wisconsin, and why The Wall Street Journal scooped the state’s media on the biggest First Amendment assault in modern American history.
Gigot, who rarely delivers public remarks, will tell the untold story of behind the scenes at The Wall Street Journal, which broke the story of how the government attempted to silence voices in the debate on issues in our state. The Wall Street Journal ran dozens of editorials about the censorship efforts in Wisconsin.
WILL entered the fight and free speech prevailed.
But, the threats to our freedoms linger on. Mr. Gigot will take questions from the audience after his remarks.
