Corridor to Create Hundreds of New Jobs, Millions in Investment
(Brown County, Wis.) – The Village of Denmark, in association with Brown County and private businesses, is announcing support for the creation of the Denmark Business Development Corridor, strategically located along Interstate 43.
“The Village of Denmark is proud to announce some exciting developments that will be taking place this spring. As a result of our partnership with Brown County, the Village is now in a position to take full advantage of our prime location and easy access on and off I-43,” says Village President Gregory Mleziva. “By working together with the County, we are able to provide tremendous economic development opportunities that will greatly benefit businesses currently located and those looking to locate in Denmark. The future of our growing community will be brighter because of this important investment in our workforce and infrastructure.”
Through the development of this corridor, Salm Partners, LLC will invest roughly $35 million in a new 80,000 square foot production and storage facility in Phase One while adding 80 new jobs to operate the new production line. The Village of Denmark is making this happening without creating a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District so that much needed new tax revenue can be collected and used by the community, rather than diverted to the district.
“The County has been asked to assist with economic development efforts in the Village of
Denmark,” says Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach. “Through this partnership, we’re able to help Denmark respond to the needs of an existing employer and residents while providing infrastructure to attract future investment in one of our growing communities.”

We are grateful for the Village of Denmark’s support and are proud to bring new manufacturing positions, including line, technical, supervisory, and managerial roles to Brown County.”
