La Crosse – Today, the United States House Committee on Ways and Meansheld the full committee’s first hearing in the 116th Congress on Protecting Americans with Pre-Existing Conditions.
“No Wisconsinite should be denied coverage because of a pre-existing condition, yet many live in fear that these protections will fall victim to political attacks,” said Rep. Ron Kind. “I’m so happy to see this newfound, bipartisan support for the need to protect individuals with pre-existing conditions, and will continue to fight for this fundamental priority within our healthcare system.”
