Madison – Today, Representative Mike Kuglitsch (R-New Berlin) was sworn in as the State Representative for the 84th Assembly District for his fifth term. Kuglitsch is part of a 63 seat majority in the 104ndAssembly Session.

“It is truly humbling and a great honor to be the Assembly Representative of the people in New Berlin, Greenfield, and Milwaukee for a fifth term. Over the next two years, I will continue to work hard for the citizens of the 84th Assembly District.”

“Over the past eight years, we have made great strides forward in terms of fiscal stability and economic growth, however there are always ways we can improve this great state. I look forward to working in a bipartisan manner with Governor Evers and our Republican Assembly and Senate Majorities over the next biennium.”

Last month, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) appointed Kuglitsch to be Chairman of the Assembly Committee on Energy and Utilities. Kuglitsch was also appointed to the committees on Environment, Government Accountability and Oversight, State Affairs, Joint Survey Committee on Retirement Systems, and Rules.

“My priorities as a legislator have not changed since I have been in office. Over the next biennium, I look forward to working on the issues important to the 84th Assembly District that will continue our strong economic growth as a state, ensure great schools for our children, and keep money in the hands of hard working taxpayers.”
