WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Mike Gallagher today released the following statement after the Trump administration agreed to lift steel and aluminum tariffs on Canada and Mexico.
“This administration’s decision to lift steel and aluminum tariffs on Canada and Mexico is the right one. This a huge win for Wisconsin farmers and our economy, but there is more work to be done. We must continue to work to ensure Wisconsin farmers and businesses have fair access to markets around the world, and the USMCA will play an important part as we work to achieve that goal.”
