Juneau, WI
— Today, Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald announced his endorsement by Rebecca Kleefisch, former Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor, as momentum continues to build for his candidacy for Wisconsin’s Fifth Congressional District.

“I’m so pleased to support Scott Fitzgerald to be the next congressman for Wisconsin’s Fifth Congressional District,” said Kleefisch. “During my time as Wisconsin’s Lieutenant Governor, Scott Fitzgerald’s leadership in the State Senate was instrumental in making Wisconsin’s Conservative Revolution a reality. I know the residents of Wisconsin’s Fifth will be able to count on Scott to bring his leadership and experience to Washington and make conservative principles a priority in Congress.”

“It’s an honor to have Lieutenant Governor Kleefisch’s support in the race for Wisconsin’s Fifth Congressional District,” said Fitzgerald. “Not only are Rebecca and Joel Kleefisch longtime friends, but I have had the pleasure of working alongside both of them through their service to Wisconsin in the Lieutenant Governor’s office and the State Assembly. I’m so grateful for this endorsement of my candidacy.”

Kleefisch is the latest of several endorsements from prominent Wisconsin conservatives from the Fifth Congressional District and statewide that the Fitzgerald for Congress team has rolled out in recent weeks as the momentum for Fitzgerald’s candidacy continues to build.
