Women’s March Wisconsin is proud to endorse Shelia Stubbs in her race for Wisconsin State Assembly District 77. As a community advocate, a neighborhood organizer, and an elected official, Shelia Stubbs embodies the mission of Women’s March Wisconsin. She has helped enact criminal justice reform, created programs to involve young people in social change, championed initiatives to clean up Madison’s lakes and streams, fought for safer neighborhoods where all children can thrive, and increased funding for services for seniors and people with disabilities. We believe she is the most qualified candidate to continue this work in Wisconsin’s State Assembly.

Women’s March Wisconsin is proud to endorse LaKeshia Myers in her race for Wisconsin State Assembly, District 12. As an educator, she understands the current educational landscape in Wisconsin and will fight for all children to have access to quality public education and for teachers to be paid a living wage. LaKeshia will advocate for more economic development so her constituents are no longer forced to leave the district for employment, shopping, and entertainment. If elected, she will work to create the fair criminal justice system that is long overdue in Wisconsin. LaKeshia Myers represents the new voice and new vision needed in politics to create transformative social change.

Women’s March Wisconsin is proud to endorse Nikiya Dodd in her race for Milwaukee’s 5th Aldermanic District. In the private sector, she has spent her career as a non-profit professional in healthcare, education, and community services. As a former Wisconsin State Senator and Milwaukee County Supervisor, Nikiya Dodd has the experience needed – including legislative policies on economic development, law enforcement, environmental policies, and parks – and strong desire to create and maintain a quality of life for residents in her district. Like Women’s March WI, she envisions all communities in Wisconsin be a safe place where families choose to buy a home and raise their children.
