[Madison, WI] — J Street – a far-left group that supported liberal foreign policies like Obama’s Iran Deal – has been pouring money into Wisconsin during the 2018 election cycle. D.C. Dan Kohl, the liberal candidate in the 6thCongressional District, was one of the founding members of the organization and now benefits directly from the group’s support. On top of that, Senator Tammy Baldwin has been relying on J Street funds throughout the election cycle.

“Between D.C. Dan and Senator Baldwin, there are plenty of far-left candidates on the ballot this fall in Wisconsin who will support J Street’s dangerous foreign policy agenda,” said Alec Zimmerman, spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “It’s telling that both liberal candidates have decided to tie themselves to a group with such radical policy goals, and is more proof that they’re putting liberal special interests ahead of Wisconsin families.”

J Street’s Pours Money into Wisconsin
Senator Tammy Baldwin recently reported another $50,000 in bundled contributions from J Street – bringing her total from J Street to over $120,000 on the cycle.
D.C. Dan Kohl was the co-founder and former lobbyist at J Street. After he moved back to the 6thCongressional from Washington, Kohl’s campaign took more than $180,000 in bundled contributions from J Street.
