[Madison, WI] — Wisconsin Republicans are sending a message to grassroots conservatives throughout the state following today’s Senate Judiciary Committee vote: we need to send more Republicans to Washington to stop the Democrat obstruction. As the vote on Supreme Court Nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh moves toward the Senate floor, WISGOP leaders are redoubling their commitment to electing Leah Vukmir and helping President Trump confirm more Supreme Court Justices like Kavanaugh.

“Tammy Baldwin is a do-nothing liberal obstructionist. Now more than ever we need to make sure we’re doing everything we can to send another conservative to D.C.,” said Crystal Berg, WISGOP First Vice Chair. “We need to fight to make sure that we send our Wisconsin way to Washington. We need to fight to elect Leah Vukmir to the U.S. Senate.”

“Judge Kavanaugh is a highly qualified judicial nominee who has long been viewed as a top choice for Supreme Court Justice,” said Carol Brunner, WISGOP First Congressional District Chair. “Senator Baldwin and her liberal allies are underscoring why we need more conservatives in the U.S. Senate. Grassroots Republicans are energized and ready to do anything they can to support Leah Vukmir.”

“Grassroots conservatives know just how important it is to support Judge Kavanaugh,” said Kathy Kiernan, WISGOP Fifth Congressional District Chair. “The only way we can help President Trump is to send him more Republicans for the U.S. Senate. I urge conservatives who are fed up with Tammy Baldwin’s Washington political games to head to their local field office and volunteer to help Leah Vukmir win this fall.”

“In Wisconsin, we want leaders who get results, not someone who mindlessly obstructs on partisan grounds. We deserve better than Senator Tammy Baldwin,” said Kelly Ruh, WISGOP Eighth Congressional District Chair. “We must fight and send a new conservative to Washington who will help continue moving our nation in the right direction.”
