Roys just latest candidate in far-left primary to face questions over honesty
[Madison, WI] — Democrats have been tripping all over themselves in their dangerous race to the left to see who can go the furthest in opposing the good-paying, family-supporting jobs Gov. Walker helped bring to Wisconsin with the recruitment of Foxconn and its $10 billion investment. In a stunning display of hypocrisy revealed by the HuffPost, Madison liberal Kelda Roys has gone so far as to oppose Foxconn even though she previously spearheaded similar legislation – when it benefited her favored Madison suburb – that liberal Congressman Mark Pocan called a “corporate giveaway” at the time.
“It’s the height of hypocrisy for Kelda Roys to stand against Foxconn’s 13,000 good paying, family-supporting jobs for political reasons when she led the charge on similar legislation while serving in the legislature,” RPW spokesman Alec Zimmerman said. “This is just further proof that she’ll say anything to get noticed in the crowded Democrat primary.”
